As the needs for Skilled Workers vary from province to province, the Government of Canada has agreements with most Provincial Governments, whereby they are allowed to nominate for immigration, individuals with skills and abilities, or business ideas that are in high demand by that particular province.
Because PNP candidates are not assessed on the six selection factors of the Federal Skilled Workers Program and their skills do not have be to listed in the National Occupational Classification (NOC), they may be approved under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) even though they may have been declined under the Federal Skilled Workers Program. PNP candidates are still required to meet all Federal statutory requirements regarding health, criminal and security checks before an immigration visa is issued.
In order to represent you in the most advantageous fashion through our extensive business contact and knowledge base, we specialize in processing PNP immigrations primarily in Alberta (where we are based) and British Columbia. But you may be confident that Pathfinder Consulting is fully qualified to process immigrations under the PNP of any province.
As a provincial nominee in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, employment must be secured before an application can be processed. The Canadian visa post outside of Canada, at which the application must be submitted, will process the application on a priority basis. Many of our PNP clients work here in Canada with a Foreign Worker's Visa while their permanent resident visa is processed, and are not required to leave Canada. Their medical test and the finalization of the file is done at the nearest Immigration Office within Canada.
Please note:| ● | All workers with valid work authorization along with all the members of their family that are with them in Canada will be covered under the respective province's health car plan. | |
| ● | Children will automatically receive student authorization. |
