In order to be eligible for the Entrepreneur
Program, an individual must:

Have managed and controlled a percentage of the equity
of a qualifying business for at least two years in the
period beginning five years before the date of
application.

Have legally obtained a net worth of at least
CAD$300,000 — including inheritance,
spouse's assets, lottery winnings, etc.

Intend and be able to:

manage and own equity equal to or greater than 33
1/3 percent in a qualifying Canadian business,
and
-
create at least one full-time job equivalent (37.5
hrs./week) for Canadian citizens or permanent
residents, other than the entrepreneur and his or
her family members, for a period of at least one
year within three years of arriving in
Canada.

Obtain a minimum of 35 points in the following five

Pass an interview, as well as, health and criminal
checks.
Once an Entrepreneur receives a Landed Immigrant
Visa, they will be required, within a period of not more
than three years after landing, to provide an immigration
officer with evidence of compliance with the conditions
stated in item 3.
